“Great location! About 15 minute UBER ride to French Quarter/Garden District. Dave, park manager, was a wonderful resource; friendly, knowledgable, and available! Bathrooms are new and clean. Park is gated. We’d recommend it!”
“Three Oaks and a Pine RV Park – a former FEMA trailer park – is located about a 10-15 minute drive to the Visitors Information Center near the French Quarter of New Orleans. Upon our arrival at the RV Park the manager, Dave, greeted us; directed us to our park site; guided us into the park site; suggested what to see/do while in New Orleans. The park is minimalist, i.e., there is no swimming pool, hot tub, etc. There are two very clean showers and a very clean laundry room. The park is next to the railroad tracks – but we were not disturbed by the trains. The price is right; the location is close to town; the park is quite. We would highly recommend this RV park. Thanks, Dave, for your assistance. Greatly appreciated. P.S. The Wi-Fi service at this park is outstanding!!”
“The owner was very nice and super helpful with giving us advice on how to best check out the city since we don’t have a car. It’s pretty basic, hookups, decent amount of space in between RV’S, security fence and felt safe, and for the price and location, it was perfect. We were basically sleeping there and checking out the city during the day. Seemed silly to pay $105 a night for some of the other RV parks.”
“Close to downtown New Orleans, this campground has large sites with full hookups. There are new bathrooms, excellent security and good WiFi. The manager lives on site and was extremely helpful. The only negative was the campground was located next to a rail yard and there was some occasional noise from the trains. We always run a fan at night for ‘white noise’ and this eliminated the problem. We camped at Three Oaks and a Pine in a Motorhome.”
“Sites are spacious, easy to back into. The WiFi was excellent, good cable TV. The manager was really helpful, making sure we were all set up. He also supplied us with information we needed about the area, particularly transit to the French Quarter. RV park is on a convenient public transit to the French Quarter. Easy access to Interstates. Easy satellite setup. We would stay here again. We camped at Three Oaks and a Pine in a Fifth Wheel.”
“Rate reflects weekly rate with a senior citizen’s discount (many discount plans offered). We stayed 7 nights in a motorhome, gated and secure. Very large, level sites, full hookups with cable. Wi-Fi in the park. The manager was extremely helpful with local info, as well as how to get into the French Quarter-Uber, taxis, or where to park if driving in. Will stay again. We camped at Three Oaks and a Pine in a Motorhome.”
“Great campground. Conveniently located to downtown by car or bus (stop across the road from campground). Clean laundry. New bath houses. Dave was always available and very helpful with directions and places to eat and go. Would definitely camp there again.”
